So many RC web shops (ourselves included until now) have tens of thousands of products listed but in real time, they actually only have a few hundred products on their own shelves. This is done for no other reason than search engine manipulation. The unfortunate result to customers of this practice are extended dispatch wait times due to no local stock, often resulting in cancelled orders after a product is no longer available from the supplier. After having recent problems with stock updates from our suppliers not working correctly and causing this exact problem, we have decided to take our stock system back to basics. We built our great reputation on our customers knowing, that if a product shows as being in stock that there is a 99% chance it actually is on the shelf ready for dispatch or collection. Why only a 99% chance? There is always the possibility that a product sells out over the counter here in the shop, just before you place your order. If we have not managed to update the shop quantities in time, you may purchase a product that has just sold out.

The exception to this is fuel stocks for online delivery orders. We get your fuel delivery orders sent direct from our distributor and from time to time they run out of stock - usually replenished within a few days though. Should this happen, we will inform you very quickly of the stock deficit and offer to refund you straight away if you would rather not wait for stock.

So, to facilitate this move 'back to basics' we have had to delete ALL products and start the restocking of our web shop from scratch. This is a huge job as we want to make sure the product data, stock levels and P&P charges on each and every product are as accurate as possible. To do this we must manually check each and every product we make live - just shy of 1000 products currently on our shelves. Instead of having nothing at all available for our valued customers while we complete this long task, we have decided to make categories/products live as we process them. Any product you see that does not have an 'Add To Cart' button visible is one that we are still processing. In this case simply phone us and we will update the listing for you straight away, or take your order over the phone.
