It includes all of the desired factory team option parts and many updates in a one-box purchase. The drivetrain as well as the chassis layout have been completely redesigned making it easier to drive on the track and work on in the pit. Additionally, the new ELITE chassis increases stability and is designed to work for all drivers and be more accepted worldwide. The 8IGHT-X ELITE now includes the option parts our elite level race team utilizes to win races around the world, thus making for a vehicle that is high level competition ready right out of the box. Included option parts are carbon center diff brace, 3.5mm shock shafts, aluminium front brace, front universals, 10mm wing riser, quick change engine mount, wider hexes, new pistons, carbon fibre arm inserts, poly-carbonate wing, and updated rear CVA axle.

7075-3mm Aluminium Chassis
An ELITE chassis that moves weight forward and decreases wheelbase is included to give the car more overall grip. Chassis width has been increased from the 4.0 to X to aid in stability and give the buggy a more neutral feel.

Updated rear CVAs
The 8IGHT-X ELITE will include rear CVAs with an updated axle and shaft providing more overall rear grip to the car and better tracking through the bumpy conditions.

The 8IGHT-X ELITE will includes updated universals for the front which makes the car smoother existing turns and aids in the flow in bumpy track conditions.

Updated Radio Tray
An updated radio tray now puts the throttle servo near the engine to eliminate additional linkage. The updated radio tray will ensure the throttle servo is rigidly mounted to avoid any flex by floating the servo off of the center differential.

Aluminium Front Brace
The 8IGHT-X ELITE includes an updated aluminium front brace that provides smoother steering response.

+1 Hexes
Updated +1mm width hexes are included for the rear of the 8IGHT-X ELITE to add stability in high speed turns.

Two Wings and Wing Riser
The 8IGHT-X ELITE includes updates to both the Ifmar wing as well as our polycarbonate wing. We also include a 10mm wing riser for added rear grip.

The steering rack allows more ackerman adjustments and an improved servo saver to eliminate bellcrank bind during high loads.

Bleeder Shock Caps
Updated machined aluminium shock caps with threaded bleeder holes for easy and consistent bleeding of oil. New bladders are also included for better bump handling.

Suspension Arms
Webbing added between inner mounting tabs to ensure hinge pin fitment. Mold updated to increase strength. Suspension arms have been designed to accept stiffener plates that will allow racers to tune the flex of the suspension. The Elite kit will include both molded plates and carbon plates.

Shock Towers
Machined 7075-T6 aluminium shock towers with updated camber link holes previously included with the 8XE.

Better Diff Access
The front and rear diff case have been altered to allow easier access to the differentials without removing the bulkheads from the vehicle. The front diff case has been updated to allow better fitment of the front arms while the rear case has been updated to increase the strength of the area holding the shock tower.

Optimized Shocks
The 8IGHT-X shocks are optimised and lightened to decrease the center of gravity and lower the weight of the car as well as offer the use of both 3.5mm and 4.0mm shock shafts.

Cab Forward Style Body
A cab forward design helps with overall down force, which improves steering and overall stability. Cut lines have been updated for ease of installation and changing of settings.

Equalized driveline
The center drive shaft angles have been modified so they are equal front to rear allowing for a more 4wd feel to the vehicle.

Improved Suspension Geometry
The 8IGHT-X next generation suspension geometry has been completely revamped making a car that is fast, nimble, and easy to drive. This includes a myriad of updates including longer front and rear arms, wider front pivot with less scrub radius, narrower rear pivot, and updated hub offset.

Larger Pinion Bearing
The pinion bearing size inside the front and rear gear boxes has been increased for added durability.

Adjustable Caster Blocks
17.5 deg Caster blocks are included that allow the height of the spindle to be adjusted up and down for more or less high speed stability.

Sway bar system that has collars that eliminate side to side play to provide a more consistent suspension package.
